1. Data Controller

2. Core Principle
BreederBase stores your breeding data (animals, litters, weights, health, finances, documents) exclusively on your device. We do not operate user accounts, we have no servers storing your data, and we have no access to it.
3. Backups and Synchronization
If you enable synchronization or backups, your data goes exclusively to your own account: Google Drive (access limited to files created by the app), iCloud, or your own WebDAV server. You can encrypt backups with a password - only you know it. We have no access to your backups.
4. Subscriptions
Payments are handled by Google Play (Android) and the App Store (iOS). We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions; it receives an anonymous installation identifier and transaction data (plan type, status). RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or breeding data. See: RevenueCat privacy policy.
5. Document Scanner
The document scanning feature uses Google ML Kit. Scanned documents are processed on your device - they are not sent to Google servers for processing. Google Play services may download the necessary scanner components from Google servers on first use. Scanned documents are stored locally in the app.
6. Android System Backup
On Android, app data may be included in the Android system backup (Auto Backup) to your own Google account, according to your device settings.
7. What We Don't Do
We do not display ads. We do not sell or share data. We do not use analytics or tracking tools. We do not collect crash reports.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
Your breeding data is under your sole control - you can export or delete it in the app at any time. For matters concerning subscription-related data (RevenueCat), contact us: [email protected]. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Austria: Datenschutzbehörde).
9. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
